Professional History

Leo Alexander Scott has studied six degrees/certificates in visual arts, graphic design and education. In 2001 Leo graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from James Cook University majoring in Drawing. Followed in 2006 with a post-graduate Masters of Visual Arts; investigating social realism of the Mackay community.

Leo is a regular major prize winning artist including the achievement of a commended in the 2005 Brett Whiteley Travelling Art Scholarship; A prestigious exhibition and national award recognising major young emerging Artists in Australia less than 25 years of age. Leo has featured in curatorial exhibitions including solo exhibitions in major public art galleries.
